I have always received compliments about how healthy and clear my skin is. I had multiple women message me and ask me, “ what’s your secret? “ “How do you manage to maintain such healthy and clear skin? ” I was asked to share my products and skin care regiments, but I never got the chance to do so, so now here it is. Before I discuss what I put on my skin, I also want to point out that skin care is not just about what products you use. Your daily routines such as your diet and the way you clean your face can have a significant impact on your skin. I’m not saying you have to eat super clean to have great skin, but you do have to be mindful of what you are putting into your body.
A balanced diet is essential.
If you consume food that contains a lot of fat, sodium, or sugar, your face may begin to get dry and break out. You do not have to cut it out entirely but make sure you slow down eating the following. Bread Fast food, Soda Juice, Coffee, Chocolate Candy. As good as it may taste too much of it can be bad for your body. Your body will react to anything you put in it. So if you see yourself breaking out, that is your body way of telling you that it is not good for you. Try to incorporate water into your diet. Your body needs 8 cups of water a day. Soda and Juice contain a lot of sugar, which can cause your body to be dehydrated, which will cause your skin to dry out. Soda and Juice may quench your thirst for a moment, but it does not actually hydrate you. Even if you still drink juice add water to it or, cut back to drinking it three times a day one for each meal.
Foods you should add to increase hydration in your body and skin.
Try incorporating vegetables and fruits into your diet. Most fruit and vegetables contain water, which will also give you the hydration that you need for your body. For example, Watermelon, Strawberries, Cantaloupe, Lettuce, Celery, Cucumbers, Tomato, Zucchini, and Spinach. The following foods are made up of water and contain 80%-90% of water in it. If you drink the standard amount of water needed per day on top of consuming food that includes a lot of water you will see great results. On a side note, I heard that drinking water with cucumbers is a new method to improve dry skin and acne.
Daily face wash routine.
Make sure you have two wash clothes when you clean yourself. You should always have a rag that you use for washing your face and another rag for your body. You sweat throughout the day, which turns into dirt, and if you use the same cloth that applies for your body on your face, you are putting that dirt and bacteria on your face. Make sure you change your rags every three-four days. Make sure you wash your face twice a day.
Products that will make your skin clear and glow.
Nature’s Bounty Hair Skin and Nail Vitamins, you will see results in every area. Like I mentioned before You have to consume 64oz water while using these vitamins to see the best results. If your face feels Dry try using Aveeno soap. Take a hot rag ( not too warm) wipe your face off first. Apply the soap and scrub your face in a circular motion until you get every part of your face. Then take another hot rag ( not too hot ) and wipe the soap off. Do this in the morning and at night. Apply Aveeno lotion to your face to lock the moisture. You can also use coconut oil on your face as well if you do not like lotion. You do not need a lot of it. If you have scars or marks on your skin, Buy an aloe plant. You can purchase this at shop rite and Home Depot. Coconut oil baths work wonders for your skin. If you noticed your skin is dry, then run a hot tub and drop two tablespoons of coconut oil. Bathe for about 15-20 minutes and then take a shower after.
Oily skin
If you are a person that has oily skin you can still use face wash routine that I mentioned earlier, however, stay away from the coconut oil because you do not need it. You need to get wet wipes to remove the oil off your face. Make sure you do this before you wash your face. Do this twice a day. If you need to, carry the wipes with you on the go.  Try using a thick or clay face max to eliminate the oil from your face. If you do not want to buy one, you can always make your own face mask. Heres a site that has a DIY face mask. 6 Best DIY Homemade Turmeric Face Masks for Oily Skin  Make sure you stay consistent so you can see results.
The best place to purchase skin care products.

You can get all these products in the store, but if you do not have a Dollar General where you live you can also order online too. All of these products are less than $10 each. Dollar general also takes manufacturer coupons too so you may be able to get it cheaper.
Ok so I’m definitely doing well for my skin because I basically do all that u have said already. I do need to go get me an aloe plant though. I grew up on aloe plant especially being a child who suffered from eczema and it helped tremendously. I also like the idea of taking a coconut oil bath. Now me… I have coconut oil all over my home but I have never utilized it in the bath tub I can’t wait to try that. Thank u for the pointers I appreciate this post and I will definitely be passing it on.
Thank You . I’m glad you found it useful. Keep me updated and let me know if the coconut oil bath helps you. I do it a lot in the winter because that’s when my skin becomes really dry.
This is a great post, some really great advice! It definitely helps to make sure you eat a well balanced diet – I feel like that’s something that a lot of people forget.
